By accessing or using the World Best Tester platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform.

2. Eligibility

The platform is available to registered participants, judges, and administrators. Participation in competitions requires a valid account and team assignment by an authorised organiser.

3. Account Responsibilities

  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
  • You must provide accurate and complete registration information
  • You must not share your account with others
  • You must notify administrators immediately of any unauthorised use

4. Competition Rules

  • All participants must follow the official competition rules as described on the About page
  • Bug reports must be original work submitted by the registered participant
  • Any form of cheating, plagiarism, or manipulation of results is prohibited
  • Judges' scoring decisions are final

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the platform
  • Interfere with or disrupt the platform's infrastructure
  • Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent bug reports
  • Use the platform for any unlawful purpose
  • Attempt to test or exploit systems outside the designated System Under Test

6. Intellectual Property

Bug reports and submissions created during competitions remain the intellectual property of the participant. However, by submitting, you grant the competition organisers a non-exclusive licence to use submissions for judging, ranking, and promotional purposes.

7. Limitation of Liability

The platform is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any damages arising from the use of or inability to use the platform.

8. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, engage in unsportsmanlike conduct, or compromise the integrity of the competition.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
